The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education University Community is hereby informed that the Federal Government has declared Monday, September 16th, 2024, as a Public Holiday to commemorate the celebration of Eid-ul-Mawlid, marking the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

IAUE Issues Urgent Notice on Public Holiday

The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education University Community is hereby informed that the Federal Government has declared Monday, September 16th, 2024, as a Public Holiday to commemorate the celebration of Eid-ul-Mawlid, marking the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, Staff, and Students of the University, we wish our Muslim brothers and sisters a happy and peaceful celebration.

Please note that all staff are expected to observe the Public Holiday on Monday and resume work on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024.
