Benue SUBEB Reports 74,000 Applications for Teacher Recruitment Amid CBT Process

The Executive Chairman of the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Grace Adagba, announced that over 74,000 individuals applied for the state's teachers' recruitment exercise, with only qualified candidates invited to participate in the ongoing Computer-Based Test (CBT).
Speaking on a state radio program, Dr. Adagba praised Governor Hyacinth Alia for his commitment to transparency in the process. She assured that the recruitment is merit-based and highlighted the availability of technical assistants to support candidates.
Mr. Cephas Dyako, Chairman of the State House of Assembly Education Committee, commended the smooth conduct of the CBT during a site visit, noting effective planning and logistics. Candidates expressed satisfaction with the transparent exam process and the efficiency of the ICT facilities.
