The QAT Foundation, led by CEO Hajiya Halimat Tejuosho Adenike, has awarded scholarships to 370 individuals, including 150 out-of-school children at the primary level, 150 at the secondary level, and 70 undergraduate students at tertiary institutions. The event took place at Luchia Hotel in Kaduna to commemorate the 64th birthday of Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

Hajiya Tejuosho highlighted the importance of education in breaking the cycle of poverty and promoting social equity. She emphasized that the scholarships, aimed at people living with disabilities (PLWDs) and out-of-school children, demonstrate the foundation’s commitment to bridging the educational gap in Nigeria.

Beneficiaries of the scholarships expressed their gratitude to the QAT Foundation. Aminu Ibrahim, a primary school beneficiary, said the scholarship would help him continue his education and achieve his dreams. Josephine Kazah, a secondary school beneficiary, called the scholarship a blessing and promised to make the most of the opportunity.
