The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) is set to collaborate with the Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI) to improve training in Electronic Public Relations (E-PR), media, and information operations. This partnership aims to equip military personnel with the necessary skills to handle and manage military information in line with contemporary trends.

Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi, Vice-Chancellor of Uni-Abuja, made the announcement through Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Administration, Professor Philip Afaha, during a courtesy visit by Lieutenant Colonel Adamu Ngulde, the Acting Commandant of NASPRI. Professor Afaha commended the Directorate of Army Public Relations for its effective information dissemination, emphasizing the need for military communication strategies to align with modern media practices.

He stated, "It is crucial for the military to stay updated with developments in media studies, complementing its kinetic operations." Afaha also expressed Uni-Abuja’s commitment to working closely with NASPRI in training personnel and students, granting access to the university's Digital Library and Faculty of Communication and Media Studies for research, seminars, and workshops.

In response, Lieutenant Colonel Ngulde expressed gratitude to Uni-Abuja and reaffirmed NASPRI’s commitment to utilizing the university's resources following its relocation to Muhammadu Buhari Cantonment, Giri, Abuja.
