The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja (Uniabuja), Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah, has extended congratulations to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on his appointment as the fifth Chancellor of Bayero University Kano (BUK). The installation ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
In a press release issued by the acting Director of Information and University Relations at Uniabuja, Dr. Habib Yakoob, Professor Na’Allah expressed confidence in the emir's exceptional leadership qualities, describing the appointment as well-deserved.

Since his installation as the 11th Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari has previously served as Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, and the University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State, before his recent redeployment to BUK.
