UNIABUJA VC Seeks Strategic Partnerships for Institutional Growth and National Development

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, has reiterated the commitment of the University management to partner with individuals and corporate organisations to strengthen the University and contribute to national development.

 Fawehinmi stated this when he received, at separate times, the director-general of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Mr Dasuki Arabi, and the managing director of the Nigerian University Pension Management Company Ltd (NUPEMCO), Mr Aliyu Atiku, on courtesy visits to his office yesterday.

Arabi said his visit was to explore areas of collaboration on capacity-building activities between the Bureau and the University.

On his part, Mr Aliyu Atiku said the NUPEMCO team visited to congratulate the vice-chancellor on his appointment and to intimate the University management on the company’s proposed corporate social responsibility initiatives on the campus.

The vice-chancellor assured the two organisations of the University’s readiness to partner with them in advancing societal development.
