UNICEF Delegation Visits University of Maiduguri to Explore Collaboration on Communication

A delegation from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), led by Clement Adam, Health Manager at the Maiduguri field office, visited the University of Maiduguri today to discuss potential collaboration with the institution.

The delegation was received by Prof. Aliyu Yahaya, the University Librarian, who is acting on behalf of the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohammed Laminu Mele.

The purpose of the visit was to explore opportunities for collaboration between the University and UNICEF to develop a curriculum focused on communication for social and behavior change. This initiative aims to enhance human capacity in this critical area.

The meeting aimed to establish a partnership that would leverage the expertise of both institutions to create a comprehensive curriculum, promoting social and behavior change in various contexts.
