While some citizens commend the investment in infrastructure, others express skepticism and frustration. A vocal segment of the population views this allocation as an opportunity for politicians to enhance their public image, rather than a genuine commitment to youth development.

Critics argue that the funds used for such projects ultimately comes from taxpayers, emphasizing that it is not the governor's personal wealth being utilized.

"5 billion to build camp, these thieves shaa," commented one resident, reflecting the sentiment of many. "Men and women, don't be moved by such news; these men are wicked. It's the state money he gave them, not his money, and most times, these politicians make it public so that the media can carry it, which boosts their reputation in the bid for the next term in office."
