The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is set to host the inaugural Professor Ayo Francis Ogunye Chemical Engineering Education Forum on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. The event, organized by the Professor Ayo Francis Ogunye Trust Foundation (PAFOTFUL), will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Nigeria Academy of Engineering Conference Hall within the UNILAG campus.

Prof. Kayode Denloye, FNSChE, FNSE, will deliver the lead paper titled "The State of Chemical Engineering Education in Nigeria." Prof. Denloye is a distinguished figure in the field of Chemical Engineering and his insights are expected to spark meaningful discussions on the current status and future prospects of Chemical Engineering education in the country.
The forum will feature contributions from prominent experts, including Prof. Baba Jibril El-Yakubu, Prof. Philomena Kanwulia Igbokwe, and Engr. David Adeyemo. These discussants will provide additional perspectives and engage in an in-depth analysis of the challenges and opportunities within Chemical Engineering education in Nigeria.
