The student's plight came to light after a video of her living conditions went viral, prompting an outpouring of support from various individuals and organizations. Prof. Noibi, Prof. Aderinoye, and the Executive Secretary of MUSWEN (Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria) reached out to offer assistance, recommending that MUSWEN provide her with livable accommodation.
However, Rasaki Oladejo, a representative of the UNILAG Muslim Alumni and Muslim Community, suggested that they would be better equipped to handle the situation and would reach out to MUSWEN for support. Alhamdulillah, the student has now been provided with a new and comfortable place to stay, as seen in the picture above.
