UNILAG Opens 2024/2025 Admission for Distance Learning Programmes
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is now accepting applications for its 2024/2025 academic session for Distance Learning Institute (DLI) programmes.

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is now accepting applications for the 2024/2025 academic session into its Distance Learning Institute (DLI). The university offers a range of undergraduate programmes via Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode, including:
- B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Public Administration
- Education Programmes: B.Sc. (Ed.) Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Economics; B.Ed. Early Childhood Education, Educational Management, Guidance and Counselling, Business Education; B.A. (Ed.) English
Eligibility Requirements:
- For Year One Admission: Minimum of five credits in SSCE/GCE/NECO O’ level, including English and Mathematics.
- For Year Two Admission: NCE, ND (Minimum of Lower Credit), JUPEP, IJMB, GCE A’ Levels in relevant subjects.
- For Year Three Admission: HND (Minimum of Lower Credit), Bachelor’s degree (Minimum of Third Class), NYSC Certificate or Professional Qualifications such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old by October 31, 2024, and have basic ICT skills. No UTME examination is required for DLI applicants.
Application Procedure:
- JAMB Registration: Visit the JAMB CAP website, register, and pay N3,500 for a registration number.
- UNILAG Application:
- Log on to UNILAG Application Portal
- Click “Start a Fresh Application,” select Distance Learning Institute, and enter required details.
- Pay the application fee of N17,500 online or print the payment advice for bank payment.
- Return to the portal to complete the application form and upload necessary documents.
