The 14th Pan-African Literacy for All (PALFA) Conference is set to take place from Monday, October 13 to Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) Lecture Theatre, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka.
The 14th Pan-African Literacy for All (PALFA) Conference is set to take place from Monday, October 13 to Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) Lecture Theatre, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka.
This year’s conference, themed “Shaping the Future of Africa Through Innovative Literacy Approaches,” will bring together educators, researchers, policymakers, and development partners from across Africa to discuss transformative literacy practices for the continent’s sustainable growth.

The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Olatunde Adekola, Senior Education Specialist, Africa Regional Department, World Bank, who will share insights on the evolving role of literacy in social and economic development across Africa.
