Fountain University Vice Chancellor Honoured with Sir Ahmadu Bello Leadership Award for Excellence and Integrity
The Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Osogbo, Ambassador Professor Ramota Olayinka Karim, has been conferred with the prestigious Sir Ahmadu Bello Leadership Award for Excellence and Integrity by the Southern Muslim Youth Council (SMYC) in recognition of her exemplary leadership, moral uprightness, and contributions to national development.
The Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Osogbo, Ambassador Professor Ramota Olayinka Karim, has been conferred with the prestigious Sir Ahmadu Bello Leadership Award for Excellence and Integrity by the Southern Muslim Youth Council (SMYC) in recognition of her exemplary leadership, moral uprightness, and contributions to national development.

The award, presented on Friday, October 10, 2025, honours Professor Karim’s outstanding service in education and her unwavering commitment to humanity.
In his remarks, SMYC President, Ambassador Abdulazeez Olakunle, described Professor Karim as “a reputable mentor, a leading light, and a shining star whose life and service continue to inspire millions of Nigerian youths.” He commended her visionary leadership, humility, and dedication to advancing both Fountain University and society at large.

Responding to the honour, Professor Karim expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Southern Muslim Youth Council, dedicating the award to the entire Fountain University community. She reaffirmed her commitment to fostering excellence, integrity, and character-driven leadership among students and staff.
