Taraba State University has partnered with Unilever and UNICEF to launch the Future X Unilever Campus Ambassadors Career Seminar, empowering students with essential information and opportunities to prepare them for their future careers.

Representing the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jonathan Reuben, expressed gratitude to Unilever and UNICEF for selecting Taraba State University as a beneficiary institution. He praised their commitment to promoting youth empowerment, skill-building, mentorship, and leadership development among students.

Prof. Naomi Adamu, Director of Career Development and Employability Services, highlighted the program's significance in developing students' potential and preparing them for a positive future. "The determination and creativity undertaken by both organizations play a significant role in developing the potential of our students."

Dr. Atando Dauda Agbu, Dean of Student Affairs, acknowledged Unilever and UNICEF's vital contribution to bringing empowering enterprises to the university. "The students will be exposed to exclusive learning opportunities, mentorship, and skill-building activities that will help them grow personally and professionally."

The program featured various activities, including paper presentations, dancing competitions, and spoken words, with participants winning exciting prizes. Regional Coordinator Jaafaru Tijani appreciated the university's management and students for utilizing this opportunity to empower themselves.

This partnership is part of Unilever's Future-X Campus Ambassadors Program (FUCAP), aiming to reach 3 million Nigerian youths and equip 700,000 with essential skills by 2026 ¹. UNICEF's Generation Unlimited Nigeria initiative supports 20 million young Nigerians with skills and opportunities to transition from learning to earning.
