UNIPORT Awards More Scholarships to Deserving Students Through Strategic Partnerships

The Management of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has expanded its scholarship initiative, providing more students with full tuition coverage and living stipends, thanks to the support of strategic partners.

At a recent award ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Owunari Georgewill presented scholarship letters to students on behalf of sponsors, including Engr. Kosile Nelson and Hon. Victor Tulutu Briggs.

These scholarships cover all school fees and offer financial support for students' daily needs, easing the financial burden and allowing them to focus fully on their studies. The ceremony’s high point was the announcement of additional scholarships funded by Engr. Kosile Nelson, furthering the university’s commitment to accessible education.

Prof. Georgewill expressed deep appreciation to the strategic partners for their investment in students’ futures, noting that their support plays a critical role in helping students achieve their academic dreams.
