The University of Ilorin is proud to host the 111th Bi-Annual Meeting of the Association of University Librarians of Nigerian Universities (AULNU) from the 1st to the 5th of September, 2024. This significant event, held at the university's auditorium, is themed "Managing University Libraries in a Depressed Economy: Strategies and Pathways for Effectiveness."

The meeting brings together distinguished guests, including Dr. Mary Arinde, Commissioner for Tertiary Education, and Prof. Musibau Adewumi Akanji, former Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Minna. The Chairman of the occasion is Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin.
