UNIMED Alumni Association Unveils Theme and Logo for Inaugural Olusegun Mimiko Distinguished Alumni Lecture

The University of Medical Sciences, UNIMED, Alumni Association, Ondo, has unveiled the logo and theme for the inaugural Olusegun Mimiko Distinguished Alumni Lecture scheduled for October 2026.

The prelude to the event celebrated the vision and enduring legacy of the institution’s founder, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko.

The theme of the lecture, “Advancing Health Equity and Innovation: The Legacy of a Caring Heart,” was unveiled by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ebunoluwa Aderonke Adejuyigbe.

The Distinguished Alumni Lecture is expected to bring together alumni, stakeholders in the health sector, and members of the university community to reflect on health equity, innovation and service in line with the founder’s commitment to accessible healthcare.
