UNIUYO Opens Online Registration for Second Semester GST CBT Examinations
The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has commenced online registration for the General Studies (GST) Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations for undergraduate students in the second semester of the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions.
The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has commenced online registration for the General Studies (GST) Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations for undergraduate students in the second semester of the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions.
The announcement was contained in an internal memorandum issued by the Office of the Registrar and dated July 29, 2026.
According to the University, the online registration exercise officially begins on Thursday, July 30, 2026, and is compulsory for all eligible students. The institution stressed that only students who complete the registration process will be eligible to participate in the GST CBT examinations.
The University further disclosed that the registration portal will close 72 hours before the commencement of the examinations, urging students to register early to avoid being locked out of the exercise.

To complete the registration, students are required to:
- Visit the GST CBT registration portal at cbt.uniuyo.edu.ng.
- Enter their student registration number.
- Provide an active phone number and email address, then verify the email address.
- Select the GST course to be registered.
- Make the prescribed payment to complete the registration.
- Confirm that the registration was successful.
- Repeat the course selection and payment process for any additional GST courses.
The management advised all affected students to complete the registration within the stipulated period, noting that registration is a mandatory requirement for participation in the second semester GST CBT examinations.
