University of Abuja Appoints Malam Sambo Mohammed as New Acting Registrar

University of Abuja Appoints Malam Sambo Mohammed as New Acting Registrar

The University of Abuja's 11th Governing Council has appointed Malam Sambo Mohammed as Acting Registrar, effective November 11, 2025, for a three-month period. He succeeds Mrs. Roseline Adakayi, who served in an acting capacity since May 2025.

Mohammed, a seasoned administrator, brings over three decades of experience to the role. He has held various strategic positions at the University, including Deputy Registrar, Council Division, and has served on several committees.

Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Mathew Adamu congratulated Mohammed on his appointment, emphasizing the importance of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork. He also thanked Adakayi for her contributions to the University's stability.

Mohammed, a member of ANUPA and NIM, holds a BA in Public Administration and an MPA from the University of Abuja. His appointment aims to enhance administrative efficiency and support the University's growth.
