The University of Abuja has promoted Dr. Ogedengbe John Onimisi to the rank of Professor, pending ratification by the Council. The promotion was announced by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patricia Manko Lar, at the 188th Regular Senate meeting held on April 8, 2025.
Dr. Onimisi, who specializes in Human Physiology, was among 20 staff members elevated to the rank of Professor. The promotion recognizes his dedication, resilience, and hard work in his field.
