University of Abuja Promotes Dr. Kamoru Adio Salami to Professorial Rank

The University of Abuja has promoted Dr. Kamoru Adio Salami to the rank of Professor, pending ratification by the Council. The promotion was announced by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patricia Manko Lar, at the 188th Regular Senate meeting held on April 8, 2025.

Dr. Salami, who specializes in Process Intensification and Reaction Engineering, was among 20 staff members elevated to the rank of Professor. The promotion recognizes his dedication, resilience, and hard work in his field.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor congratulated Dr. Salami, describing him as a hardworking academic committed to advancing knowledge in his field. She emphasized that the promotion reflects the university's commitment to academic development and staff progress.
