University of Ibadan Approves NELFUND Loans for 3,283 Students, Sets Registration Deadline
The University of Ibadan has received funds from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for 3,283 approved students. These students are required to complete their registration through the university portal by September 24, 2024, as per an agreement with the Students Union.

The University of Ibadan has announced that 3,283 students have been approved for financial aid through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND). According to an internal memorandum issued by the Registrar, Mr. G. O. Saliu, the university has now received the funds to cover the students' loans.
Beneficiaries are directed to log into their university portal and complete their registration by paying through the designated wallets on the platform. This announcement follows a prior circular dated September 18, 2024, and is in line with agreements reached between the university administration and the Students Union on September 19.
Students have until 12 midnight on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, to finalize their registration. The Registrar emphasized that strict compliance with the deadline is required from all eligible students.
