University of Ibadan Student Saheed Ahmed Wins Prestigious World Veterinary Award

Saheed Ahmed, a final-year Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Ibadan, has been named the World's Best Veterinary Student by the World Veterinary Association (WVA).

This prestigious award recognizes Ahmed's exceptional academic excellence, leadership experience, research involvement, and community service.

The award comes with a €5,000 cash prize and an all-expense-paid trip to Washington D.C. for the 2025 World Veterinary Congress.
