University of Maiduguri Announces 2024/2025 Pre-Admission Screening Exercise

The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has announced that the Pre-Admission Screening Exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session will commence on Monday, August 19, 2024, and end on September 20, 2024.
Candidates who applied for admission into UNIMAID are required to visit the university’s website at putme.unimaid.edu.ng for detailed information on the online registration procedure, requirements, and payment processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 through the Remita platform.
- Only UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who selected UNIMAID as their first choice during the 2024 JAMB registration are eligible.
- UTME candidates must have a minimum score of 140, except for courses with higher cut-off marks listed on the university's website.
- Candidates must meet the minimum UTME scores and have the correct subject combinations as outlined in the 2024 JAMB Brochure.
- All candidates must have at least five O'Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings. DE candidates must have at least a lower credit in National or Higher National Diploma or a Merit in NCE.
- Only O'Level results printed directly from the National Examining bodies' websites or certified photocopies will be accepted.
Candidates are also required to ensure that their O'Level results are uploaded on the JAMB CAPS profile website.
