US Government Partners with KNOSK N100-a-Day School to Launch $45,000 English Access Scholarship Programme
The US government has partnered with KNOSK N100-a-Day School in Kuje, Abuja, to launch the English Access Scholarship Programme, a $45,000 initiative aimed at improving English language proficiency among disadvantaged students in Senior Secondary School Year 1 (SS1) and Year 2 (SS2).

In a significant move to improve English language proficiency among students from disadvantaged backgrounds, the US government has partnered with the KNOSK N100-a-Day School in Kuje, Abuja, to launch a $45,000 scholarship initiative known as the English Access Scholarship Programme.
The programme is designed to benefit students in Senior Secondary School Year 1 (SS1) and Year 2 (SS2) and will run from 2024 to 2026. It aims to provide participants with two years of comprehensive English language learning and computer literacy training. Additionally, the initiative seeks to enhance students’ performance in crucial external examinations, including WAEC and NECO, while also offering exposure to U.S. culture and values.
This fantastic opportunity is set to benefit 45 students from the KNOSK school and seven public secondary schools in the surrounding community. Participants will enjoy free meals, transportation, and textbooks throughout the duration of the programme, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their educational pursuits.
The English Access Scholarship Programme represents a commitment to fostering educational opportunities and bridging language barriers for young learners in Nigeria. With the support of this initiative, students will be better equipped to succeed academically and navigate future challenges.
