Yobe State Scholarships Board Announces Outstanding Payments

The Yobe State Scholarships Board is pleased to announce a significant development for our beneficiaries.

In line with the commitment of His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, the Board has taken steps to ensure the disbursement of all outstanding scholarships to the remaining 15,503 beneficiaries who were not paid during the initial phase of this initiative.

These payments will encompass students from various institutions, including the University of Maiduguri, FCE (Tech) Potiskum, College of Education Gashua, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, and other schools that were awaiting disbursement.

The payment process is set to commence on Monday, October 9th, starting with the University of Maiduguri. A dedicated team will visit FCE (Tech) Potiskum from Thursday, October 13th. Simultaneously, all other schools will be reached and paid by the end of October, Insha Allah. A detailed schedule and station information will be made available on the Board's media page over the coming weekend.

As previously done, the Board will share the names, ID numbers, and other relevant beneficiary details on the Board's media pages and Notice Boards across the schools ahead of the disbursement exercise.
