Yobe State University Releases Approved Academic Calendar for 2024/2025 Session

Yobe State University has released its approved academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session. The calendar outlines important dates for the upcoming academic year.

According to the calendar, the first semester will commence with registration of new and returning students from January 13-25, 2025. Late registration will take place from January 27-31, 2025, followed by the matriculation ceremony on February 18, 2025.

Lectures for the first semester will begin on February 3, 2025, and will run for 12 weeks. The first semester examinations will take place from April 28 to May 24, 2025.

The second semester is scheduled to commence on June 2, 2025, with lectures running for 12 weeks. The second semester examinations will take place from August 25 to September 20, 2025.

The university has also announced that the resumption date for the 2025/2026 academic session will be determined later. All public holidays will be observed accordingly, upon announcement.
