11-year-old boy wins scholarship to US university, set to graduate as an Engineer at the age of 15

In an extraordinary feat, 11-year-old Elijah Precciely has been awarded a full-ride scholarship to study Physics and Chemical Engineering at Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States, becoming the youngest-ever student enrolled at the institution.

Homeschooled and driven by an insatiable curiosity, Elijah expressed his admiration for the university's professors, citing their willingness to educate and sacrifice for their students. "I have learned from many professors in my fields of study and other professors who have encouraged me as I pass through the building hallways,” he shared.
His scholarship, the Joseph S. Clark Presidential Scholars Award, created in honor of the institution's first president, reflects a legacy for Elijah. Grateful for those who paved the way for his education, he emphasized his commitment to paving the way for others to achieve the extraordinary.
In addition to being an exceptional student, Elijah is a published author, hosts a weekly radio show, and has applied for multiple patents for his inventions. Expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Chemical Engineering in 2023, he remains focused on changing lives and being a guiding light for others.
