140 UNIDEL Students to receive Education Bursary Awards
Over hundred and forty ( 140) University of Delta (UNIDEL) students who applied for Education Bursary from the Federal Government Scholarship Board, have all been cleared to get the Awards .

The Director, Federal Ministry of Education in the Scholarship Board Unit, Abuja, Dr Juliana Oyaide disclosed this when she paid a courtesy call on the Management of UNIDEL, on Friday, 27th September, 2024.
Dr Oyaide said the 141 students were drawn from the Faculty of Education, University of Delta Agbor.
She said the Federal Ministry of Education offers various scholarships to deserving students through the Federal Scholarship Board (FSB) and urged the Management to always check the website for useful information on scholarships.
She reiterated the FSB's commitment to providing financial assistance to students at different levels of Education, from undergraduate to postgraduate studies.
Dr Oyaide said that the students could apply for different scholarships, including Federal Government Scholarship Award, Bilateral Education Agreement ( BEA), and Common Wealth scholarship Awards amongst others.
The Unidel Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke commended the Director for ensuring that students in UNIDEL benefitted from the scholarship and appealed to her to do more.
