Salenah Cartier, an 18-year-old prodigy, has achieved an extraordinary milestone by obtaining a master's degree with a perfect 4.0 GPA at the University of Houston in the United States, thereby becoming the university's youngest graduate on record.

Salenah's remarkable academic journey began when she made history at the University of Houston by earning her bachelor's degree at the age of 17, majoring in both Psychology and Business. Her commitment to academic excellence led her to continue her education at the same institution, where she recently completed a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education.

According to reports from Afrotech, Salenah's educational path took an unconventional turn as she was homeschooled starting in the sixth grade, following incidents of bullying from her peers who couldn't comprehend her high-level academic success. In her preteen years, she enrolled in a homeschool program that accelerated her education, ultimately allowing her to graduate from high school at the age of 14.

Entering the University of Houston's Bower College of Business at 14, Salenah seamlessly blended into her college life. Her youthful age was unknown to her fellow students, allowing her to have a typical college experience. She made friends and embraced her studies with fervor.

In addition to her bachelor's degree, Salenah also earned a certificate in Corporate Entrepreneurship. She attributes her unconventional educational journey to the unwavering support of her mother and her own passion for academic growth. Throughout her program, she found academic stimulation and fulfillment in various fields, including education, psychology, technology, and qualitative and quantitative research, all of which were visibly evident in her public speaking skills.

Salenah's outstanding academic performance has garnered her three fully funded scholarships to pursue her Ph.D. She is currently dedicated to her doctoral studies in the Instructional Technology Department at Texas University, demonstrating that her remarkable journey is far from over.
