The managements of the National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC) and the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) have met to strategise towards corps members welfare and security.

The managements of the National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC)  and the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) have met to strategise towards corps members welfare and security. 

According to findings by Myschoolnews, this move is to ensure a free, fair and credible general elections in Bayelsa State.

It was also resolved  that  corps members security before, during and after the elections will remain top priority while their training will not be compromised.

On the welfare of corps members, INEC said that the commission will not owe any corps member who will participate as Adhoc staff  in the forth coming general elections.

The State Coordinator, NYSC;  Mrs Okpalifo Obiageli Charity was accompanied to the event by  the AD HRM, AD PRS, NYSC/INEC Schedule Officer, Head PR and the PA to the NYSC State Coordinator.

The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner ( REC), Dr. Emmanuel Alex Hart led his  team which included

the Administrative Secretary, Head of Operations and Head of Voter Education to the event.
