In an inspiring tale of perseverance, 80-year-old Donzella Washington has achieved her lifelong dream by graduating from Alabama A&M University in the United States with a remarkable cumulative grade points average (CGPA) of over 70%.

Mrs. Washington embarked on her academic journey driven by a personal desire to return to school. Her quest for knowledge led her to pursue a social work degree at the university. Moving to Fultondale, US, to be with her daughter after the loss of her husband, Washington not only pursued her educational goals but also secured a scholarship to support her studies.

Reflecting on her journey, she stated, "When I began this journey, it was just because I wanted to go back to school, it was something I wanted to accomplish."

Despite being in her eighties, Washington's commitment to education is unwavering. Having successfully graduated with a CGPA of 3.69, she now plans to enroll in a Master's Degree program, expressing confidence in her ability to accomplish this with the help of God.
