Professor Mohammed Aliyu Paiko, Vice Chancellor of Abdulkadir Kure University, participated in the Nigeria Impact Review Town Hall Meeting organized by the IAEA and WHO, focusing on cancer treatment initiatives and collaborative strategies to improve care in Nigeria.

Professor Mohammed Aliyu Paiko, Vice Chancellor of Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, recently participated in the Nigeria Impact Review Town Hall Meeting organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the World Health Organization (WHO). 

The meeting aimed to assess the progress and impact of cancer treatment and research initiatives in Nigeria and served as a platform for healthcare stakeholders to discuss challenges, share successes, and explore collaborative strategies for enhancing cancer care nationwide.

During the event, Professor Paiko emphasized the necessity of integrating advanced technologies and research into existing cancer treatment protocols. The meeting also included presentations from oncology experts and interactive discussions involving healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers. Key topics included the need for sustained funding, training programs, and public awareness campaigns to effectively combat cancer.
