ABU theatre students honour visiting Veterinary Medicine Class of ’82 with drama
Postgraduate students from Ahmadu Bello University's Department of Theatre and Performing Arts have orchestrated a moving drama titled 'The Missing Face' as a tribute to the visiting Veterinary Medicine Class of '82.
Ahmadu Bello University's Drama Village came alive as students from the Department of Theatre and Performing Arts presented 'The Missing Face,' a poignant drama honoring the Veterinary Medicine Class of '82.

The 45-minute drama, meticulously crafted by postgraduate students and featuring the talents of undergraduates, unfolded on the stage of the University Drama Village. Titled 'The Missing Face,' the play explored the enduring struggles and aspirations of Africans in the diaspora throughout history. The visiting class, accompanied by distinguished faculty members, including Prof. Mohammed Aliyu Wakawa, Prof. Mohammed Hadi Suleiman, and Prof. Sani Adamu, Director of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, expressed visible delight at the tribute.

The visit, initiated on March 6, 2024, commenced with a meeting between the visiting class and the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala, at the University Assembly Hall. The class engaged in enriching discussions at the Directorate of University Advancement and International Education (DUA & IE), interacting with staff under the guidance of Prof. Sani Abba Aliyu. Interactive sessions with current faculty members and students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine provided an opportunity for the exchange of experiences.
