In a momentous achievement, Cayla Withers, a brilliant young graduate from A.L. Brown High School in North Carolina, United States, has clinched a $100,000 scholarship for her outstanding academic accomplishments. Cayla graduated with a perfect 4.00 cumulative grade point average, earning her a well-deserved spot at the University of Virginia.
The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. surprised Cayla with this historic gift, marking it as the largest single scholarship given by a black Greek fraternity or sorority. Expressing her surprise, Cayla mentioned she was aware of being a scholarship finalist due to her exceptional extracurricular activities and stellar academic performance but had no idea of the organization's planned generosity.

Cayla, who aspires to become an aerospace engineer at NASA, expressed gratitude for the scholarship, emphasizing the positive impact it would have on her educational journey. Her mother, Sheba Cuthbertson, proudly shared that Cayla would be the first engineer in their family.
During her high school years, Cayla not only excelled academically but also demonstrated leadership by founding the junior chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers. Her commitment to her goals and community has been truly commendable.
