Federal University of Kashere Students Seek Refund of Institutional Fee from NELFUND Loan

A group of students from Federal University of Kashere, who are beneficiaries of the Federal Government Student Loan through NELFUND, have requested a refund of the institutional fee component of the loan.

In a letter addressed to the Nelfund Desk Officer, the students explained that the loan is divided into two parts: the upkeep loan and the institutional fee. However, due to various circumstances, some students did not utilize the institutional fee.

The students categorized themselves into two groups: graduated students who did not use the institutional fee since they no longer pay tuition, and current students who had already registered for school fees before the loan disbursement.

The students respectfully requested that the necessary steps be taken to facilitate the refund process for all affected students. They also sought guidance on the required procedures and additional documents needed to process the refunds.
