Acting V.C of COOU Inspects Faculty of Arts at Igbariam Campus

Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, Acting Vice Chancellor, made an unscheduled visit to the Faculty of Arts at Igbariam Campus on Tuesday.

Acting Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha conducted an unscheduled visit to the Faculty of Arts at the Igbariam Campus on Tuesday. During her visit, she was greeted by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Cynado Ezeogidi, who guided her through the various facilities.

Prof. Omenugha expressed her concerns about the untidy condition of the Faculty environment. She promptly instructed students to initiate a sanitation exercise and emphasized the importance of supporting the newly established COOU Students Environmental Police (COOU-SEP) to maintain cleanliness and ensure a welcoming atmosphere throughout the Faculty complex.

While addressing the faculty members, Prof. Omenugha acknowledged their efforts in creatively enhancing parts of the Faculty complex. She praised their work but urged them to continue their improvements by expediting the development of the newly endowed Department of English Language complex. She emphasized that this development would help open up the area and enhance the overall viability of the Faculty.
