Adamawa State Government Reaffirms Commitment to Revitalizing Adamawa Polytechnic Numan Campus

The Adamawa State Government has reiterated its dedication to transforming the Adamawa State Polytechnic, Numan Campus, following a recent visit by Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta. The visit aimed to assess the institution's facilities and identify areas for improvement .
Professor Farauta expressed concern over the deplorable condition of structures, including hostels and staff quarters, emphasizing the need for government intervention. She assured that the administration is committed to restoring and improving educational institutions across the state.
"As a government that places high value on education, we are determined to restore and improve our educational institutions," Professor Farauta stated. The visit is part of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's broader strategy to gain firsthand insights into the challenges facing the polytechnic and implement comprehensive reforms.
State Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Dr. Umaru Garba Pella, and the Rector of Adamawa State Polytechnic, Yola, Muhammed Dahiru Toungos, expressed optimism about the government's commitment to restoring the institution to its former prestige.
This development is in line with Governor Fintiri's administration's focus on education and human capital development, as evident in the 2025 budget proposal of ₦486.2 billion, which prioritizes education and other critical sectors .
