The Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike management has announced the postponement of its 9th Convocation Ceremony, which was originally scheduled for Friday, 20th February 2026.

The announcement was made through an official memo (Ref: AEFUNAI/R/005/Vol. XI) issued by the Office of the Registrar and signed by T. Ifeanyi Igwe, Esq. The memo indicated that a new date will be communicated following consultations with the University Senate and Council.

The University urged all members of its community, as well as the general public, to take note of the change and comply with the directive. Management expressed regret for any inconvenience the postponement may cause.

The memo was distributed to key university offices including the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Bursar, University Librarian, Provost of the College of Medical Sciences, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, and the Public Relations Officer for circulation.
