The Vice Chancellor of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Prof. Sunday O. Elom, has announced the receipt of ₦193,377,100.00 in the first batch of disbursements under the NELFUND Student Loan Programme. This funding, which supports a total of 1,068 students, was officially received on September 18, 2024.

The NELFUND Student Loan Programme aims to provide financial assistance to students in need, facilitating access to education and reducing the financial burdens often associated with higher learning. Prof. Elom expressed appreciation for the timely disbursement, which is expected to significantly benefit the students and enhance their educational experience.
