In a decisive move to bolster academic integrity and streamline examination procedures, the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) has issued an urgent notice to all 100 level and Direct Entry (DE) students, Myschoolnews gathered.

The process, initiated on 23rd July, 2023, requires these students to complete an online form for student ID card data capture. However, the University Management has expressed deep concern over the sluggish response to this directive. As of now, only 1350 student ID cards have been issued for 100 level and DE students. This rate of compliance is considered unacceptable, especially considering the multiple warnings and deadlines that have been communicated.

In response to the mounting cases of examination malpractice, the University Management has implemented stringent measures. Deans, Heads of Departments (HODs), and invigilators have been instructed not to permit any student lacking a valid school ID card into the examination halls during the upcoming second semester examinations for the 2022/2023 academic session.
