Moddibo Adama University Hostels to Close Temporarily for Maintenance

Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) has announced a temporary closure of its hostels, effective April 3, 2025, to allow for maintenance, fumigation, and facility upgrades. Students are required to vacate their rooms and remove personal belongings before midnight on April 2, 2025.

This closure does not affect academic activities, and students are expected to resume their normal schedules. The university management has not provided a specific reopening date for the hostels.

It's worth noting that MAUTECH has experienced closures in the past due to students' unrest and religious violence. However, this current closure appears to be routine maintenance.
