The adjustment was confirmed at the university’s 528th Senate meeting, addressing delays caused by a one-week curfew imposed by the Kaduna State Government during nationwide protests. Originally, the Second Semester Examinations were set to start on Monday, August 26, 2024, and end on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
Under the new schedule, the examinations will now begin on Monday, September 2, 2024, and conclude on Saturday, September 21, 2024. This extension aims to provide students with adequate preparation time and ensure the integrity of the examination process.
