Ahmadu Bello University Inaugurates Committee to Reposition NAPRI

Ahmadu Bello University has established a committee to revitalize the National Animal Production Research Institute (NAPRI). The committee, chaired by Prof. J.K.P. Kwaga, will design and oversee the reform of NAPRI to restore its core functions in research, breeding, and resource mobilization.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Adamu Ahmed, emphasized the importance of the committee's assignment, stating that NAPRI is too strategic to fail in its mandate. He charged the committee to submit an inception report outlining its plans and findings within two weeks.

The committee comprises seven members, including professors from various faculties. They have six months to complete their assignment, and the Vice-Chancellor has pledged the university's support to ensure their success.
