Akwa Ibom Govt Approves ₦1.3 Billion for Student Bursaries, Increases Award to ₦50,000

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has approved ₦1.3 billion for the payment of student bursaries to indigenes of the state in tertiary institutions.
The approval also includes an upward review of the bursary award from ₦20,000 to ₦50,000 per beneficiary.
The increased bursary is aimed at providing greater financial support to Akwa Ibom students and easing the burden of academic expenses.
