Ambrose Alli University Unveils 2025/2026 Academic Calendar

The academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session at Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has been officially released.

The schedule, approved by Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Sunday Onogbosele Samuel on behalf of the Senate, is as follows:

- Sunday, 16 November 2025: New students come into campus  

- Monday, 17 November 2025 - Monday, 8 December 2025: 2025 Clearance/Registration of courses for new students  

- Monday, 8 December 2025: Orientation of new students  

- Sunday, 25 January 2025: Old students come into campus  

- Monday, 26 January 2026: Registration of courses for all students/Lectures begin  

- Friday, 20 February 2026: Matriculation of new students  

- Friday, 27 February 2026: Course registration for all students ends  

- Monday, 9 March 2026: Late course registration begins  

- Monday, 16 March 2026: Continuous Assessment for all students  

- Saturday, 25 April 2026: First Semester Lectures end  

- Thursday, 30 April 2026 - Saturday, 30 May 2026: First Semester Examinations begin with GST and ENT courses  

- Saturday, 30 May 2026: First Semester Examination ends  

- BREAK  

- Thursday, 4 June 2026: Students come into halls of residence  

- Friday, 5 June 2026 - Monday, 6 July 2026: Second Semester Lectures Commence  

- Monday, 6 July 2026: Continuous Assessment for all students  

- Thursday, 20 August 2026: Second Semester Lectures ends  

- Monday, 24 August 2026 - Saturday, 19 September 2026: Second Semester Examinations begin with GST and ENT courses  

- Saturday, 19 September 2026: 2026-Second Semester Examinations ends  

- Monday, 19 October 2026: Faculty Board Examiners meet to consider results  

- Monday, 26 October 2026: Business Committee of Senate meet to consider results  

- Wednesday, 28 October 2026 - Friday, 30 October 2026: Meeting of Senate to consider results/end of academic session
