American University of Nigeria and U.S. Department of State Sign Agreement to Establish American Space Centre

The American University of Nigeria (AUN) and the U.S. Department of State have signed a historic agreement to establish an American Space at the university's campus in Yola.

The signing ceremony took place at the U.S. Embassy in Abuja, with AUN President Professor DeWayne Frazier and Mr. Peter Burba, Acting Cultural Affairs Officer of the U.S. Department of State, representing their respective institutions.

The American Space, a collaborative effort between AUN and the U.S. Department of State, aims to promote cultural exchange, educational opportunities, and people-to-people diplomacy between the United States and Nigeria. This innovative initiative will provide a platform for students, scholars, and community members to engage with American culture, education, and values.
