ASUU Award Scholarships to Seven LAUTECH Students
Seven students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, have been awarded scholarships worth between One Hundred Thousand and Two Hundred Thousand Naira by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
Seven students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, have been awarded scholarships worth between One Hundred Thousand and Two Hundred Thousand Naira by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
Among the recipients are Lawal Idowu Titilope, a 300-level Medicine and Surgery student with a CGPA of 4.83, and Omoniyi Aanuoluwapo Oluwaseun, a 200-level Biochemistry student with a CGPA of 4.75. Both students were presented scholarships of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (₦200,000) each by the National Secretariat of ASUU.
Speaking at the presentation, Immediate Past Financial Secretary of ASUU, Professor Ade Adejumo, who represented the National body, explained that the scholarship covered tuition support for the awardees.

Five other students also benefited from the LAUTECH Branch awards. They include Abdul Azeez Alli Akintomiwa, 300-level Nutrition and Dietetics student with a CGPA of 4.64; Oshinubi Oluwaseyi Olatunji, 300-level Chemical Engineering student with a CGPA of 4.66; and Bello Robiu Babatunde, 400-level Agricultural Engineering student with a CGPA of 3.85.
Others are Akingboye Israel Timilehin, a 300-level Cyber Security Science student with a CGPA of 4.58, and Olayiwola Dorcas Iyanuoluwa, a 200-level Anatomy student with a CGPA of 4.84. Each of them received One Hundred Thousand Naira (₦100,000).
Professors Agbaje Lateef, Musbau Azeez, Akeem Lawal, and Adebola Akintola represented the LAUTECH Branch of ASUU in presenting the awards to the beneficiaries.
