ATBU Engages JAMB to Address Admission Issues for Affected Students
Those from the 2021 set to date who have not been admitted should also upload their O-Level results, particularly if they used combined SSCE results (e.g., WAEC and NECO), to help expedite the process.
The Academic Division of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has announced that it is working closely with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to resolve admission-related issues affecting some students. The resolution process is expected to be completed within a week.
Students who have not been offered admission are advised to regularly check their status on the JAMB CAPS portal and accept their admission if an offer is made.
Additionally, students enrolled in a course different from the one they originally applied for through JAMB are urged to process a Change of Course on the JAMB portal. Those from the 2021 set to date who have not been admitted should also upload their O-Level results, particularly if they used combined SSCE results (e.g., WAEC and NECO), to help expedite the process.
The university’s management encourages students to follow these steps to facilitate the timely processing of admissions. The institution expressed gratitude for students' patience and understanding as efforts are made to resolve the situation.
ATBU invites all affected students to join the Gubi Main Campus community.
