The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has announced the appointment of Prof. Kazeem Bello as the new Director of the Centre for Community-Based Farming Scheme (COBFAS). His tenure will span three years, commencing from March 17, 2025, to March 16, 2028.

Prof. Bello, a renowned Animal Scientist from the Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources, and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR), was appointed by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde. The appointment was formally conveyed in a letter signed by the Registrar, Dr. Titus Adeniyi, who congratulated Prof. Bello and expressed confidence in his ability to enhance the impact of COBFAS.
